This mildly sweet ale will not appeal to all drinkers. As an early evening starter drink, it could appeal to older or beginning weekend imbibers.
From the first drink to the last, the fruity flavor remains strong. While very pleasant for the Daily Cardinal's highly exclusive sampling team, the fruitiness would likely become overwhelming in a typical weekend binge drinking session. For one to drink at a level expected from a student at UW-Madison, a less sweet beer may be required.
Bell's Wheat Two Ale is a great starter drink, but to avoid the ever-dreaded gut-rot, switch to a safer beverage before midnight.
