Head coach Chandelle Schulte announced her first recruiting class when pitcher Letty Olivarez and catcher Shannon Krein signed National Letters of Intent to play for UW in the 2006-07 season. Olivarez from Newark, California was named Mission Viejo Athletic League's Pitcher of the Year in 2004 and made the All-League team in 2004. Krein, from Escalon, California, was named to the Trans Valley All-League First Team three consecutive seasons. She batted .467 as a junior.

Men's Tennis 

 

 

 

Men's tennis announced its own new additions when Michael Deierberger of Shorewood, Wis. and Christoph Gruendemann, a native of Germany, will join the team in the fall 2006 season.  

 

 

 

Dierberger recently won the boys 18 singles division in the 2005 National Open in St. Louis.Hruendemann has been competing in ITA Futures events in Spain and Germany.
