After a nearly identical armed robbery of a Badger Cab driver on Allied Drive Thursday, a Union Cab driver was the victim in a possible armed robbery on Allied Drive early Sunday morning, according to a police statement.
The driver, 47, was in the 2300 block area of Allied Drive after dropping off a fare, when the suspect entered the cab and asked the driver to pull behind a nearby building to pick up his bag.
According to the police statement, though the cab driver reported he did not see a weapon and was not injured, once the driver stopped, the suspect placed something against the cab driver's back and told him he was being robbed.
The suspect then fled with the cab driver's money, according to the statement. Police have been unable to locate the suspect, who fits nearly the same description as Thursday's robbery, which occurred on the 2400 block of Allied Drive.
