Traveling to New York should get easier January as a result of American Eagle's recently announced plan to provide non-stop service from the Dane County Regional Airport to New York City's La Guardia Airport.
With the exception of Saturdays, there will be one nonstop flight departing daily from the Dane County airport. The service should begin Jan. 9 and is to use a 37-passenger regional jet.
The flight will leave La Guardia at 3:40 p.m., arriving in Madison at 5:10 p.m.. The flight is then to leave Madison at 5:40 p.m., arriving at La Guardia at 9:01 p.m..
