A gun-wielding man who robbed a downtown Madison bank with a handgun Wednesday is still at large after fleeing the scene with an undisclosed amount of money, Madison police reported.
The Madison Police responded to an armed robbery call from the Heartland Credit Union, 944 Williamson St. at 11:16 a.m. The suspect entered the bank wearing a yellow hooded sweatshirt and blue sweatpants.
He was given the money he requested and no injuries were reported.
