Working in the Center for Russian, East European and Central Asian Studies, Rembrandt became well-traveled and the volunteer-y type. Randy taught abroad for five years and lived in Bosnia this past summer, manually laboring to build a center for developmentally disabled children. After some crazy adventures abroad, Randy couldn't be scared away from his travels when a terrorist bombing took place across the street from the building in which he was teaching. What a trooper.
