Madison: An overcrowded town filled with party angst

House parties:

Although students from other schools within the Wisconsin system have been warned to stay away this Halloween, the unavoidable guests will fill the bars and houses. Costume parties will be forced to find creative locations or develop a secret knock.

'Haunted' places:

Rumors of haunted buildings tend to emerge around this time every year. Among those are Science Hall, the second floor of the Memorial Union and the fourth floor of the south wing in the State Capitol. Send unwanted party crashers there.

Halloween as a spectator sport:

Set up chairs on a deck or porch with some friends to start off the night. With 10 scorecards, (with numbers... from 1-10) rank all who stumble into your visual range. Reward good costumes, be they creative or revealing, with a high score and make everyone else feel bad about themselves, hopefully raising your own self-esteem.
