C'mon CNN

After the Asian earthquake catastrophe that strongly affected Pakistan and India, CNN would be expected to go through hell and high water to get that gem of a story. In an hour of headline news, however the only mention was momentary and usually in the form of a scrolling message in print at the bottom of the screen. 

 

 

 

Instead, the nation's eyes were affixed to 17-year-old Taylor Behl, who had been found dead in the woods after being reported missing one month prior. To Behl's family and friends, this was a tragedy of epic proportions, but to the four million who the International Commission of the Red Cross said were affected directly by the quake, including the nearly 30,000 dead, one girl's tragedy could have taken a back seat.
