UW-Madison junior running back Booker Stanley was arrested at the Mifflin Street Block Party on charges of battery, disorderly conduct and resisting an officer Saturday.
Ald. Mike Verveer, District 4, said Stanley was taken to the Dane County Jail where he posted bail and was released. Verveer is also the Assistant District Attorney for the city of Madison and his district contains the site of the annual block party.
