A 66-year-old man was found dead in a Van Vleck Hall bathroom Friday morning, according to a UW-Madison police report.
Police found the man, whose name is being withheld until his relatives are notified, after responding to a report of an unconscious male at approximately 10 a.m.
The man was not breathing and without a pulse when the police arrived, at which time they began performing CPR and using an automated external defibrillator. The man was then taken to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The cause of death is presently unknown, but foul play is not suspected.
