New Beer Thursdays

Czechvar (pronounced CHECKVAR, in an angry, belligerent tone) starts off like every other beer you have ever tasted. This is most unappealing, when you realized you have just paid $10 for Czech Blatz. 

 

 

 

The thing is, Czechvar has the most peculiar aftertaste and it only sets in fully three seconds after you would think. This aftertaste is a curious fruit-berry combination-exactly what you would expect from the Czech Republic.  

 

 

 

This is a beer that is certainly worth trying, if only to experience the alcoholic equivalent of a fruit roll-up.
