Badgers keep Phoenix grounded

Badgers keep Phoenix grounded: Sophomore pitcher Letty Olivarez beat the Phoenix with her hitting and pitching as UW won twice Wednesday.

State may extend no-call

Cell phones will be protected under the Wisconsin no-call list if state Sen. Jon Erpenbach's, D-Middleton, proposal is passed by the Legislature.

Wisconsin law does not currently cover cell phones. The Wisconsin State Journal said Erpenbach's bill would also increase fines from $100 per violation to $10,000 for each infraction a company commits.

This comes as the FCC is mulling a petition from the Consumer Bankers Association to establish a federal no-call law, which would likely weaken Wisconsin's no-call laws.
