An 18-year-old woman was allegedly sexually assaulted on the 100-block of North Park Street at approximately 3:53 a.m. Saturday.
According to the police report, the victim was walking alone when the suspect approached her from behind and asked for a cigarette. After a short exchange, the victim said the suspect lifted her coat and put his hands between her legs. After forcing the victim to turn away from him, the suspect reportedly thrust his body against hers repeatedly. After yelling loudly throughout the assault, the suspect let her go and the victim ran from the scene.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic or Asian male approximately 5'2\, with black hair, dark eyes and weighing between 120 and 130 lbs. At the time of the incident, the suspect was wearing a black T-shirt, blue jeans and a silver chain around his neck.
