Vandals targeted a slew of vehicles in the Langdon Street neighborhood late Monday night, according to a Madison Police Department release. Police received several calls from people who said the tires on their sport utility vehicles and mini-vans had been deflated or slashed overnight.
Neighbors told police the incidents might be related to Earth Day, but police had not apprehended any suspects Tuesday. The vandals face potential criminal charges if the vehicles sustain damage. Ald. Mike Verveer, District 4, said police will increase their patrol on the street in response to the incident.
