The Madison Police Department is investigating an apparent homicide that occurred March 27 on the far south side of Madison. 

 

 

 

Police found 19-year-old Lawrence M. Williams lying in the street in the 4700 block of Crescent Road at about 8:30 p.m. Thursday, according to the police report.

Williams was brought to UW-Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. The Dane County Coroner's autopsy showed that Williams died of multiple gunshot wounds.  

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Paramedics responded to a call at the intersection of University Avenue and North Brooks Street at about 8:02 p.m. Saturday and found a white male in his mid-50s lying on the ground without a pulse, according to the police report.  

 

 

 

Paramedics transferred the man to Meriter Park Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. 

 

 

 

Police say the incident appears to be the result of a medical condition.
