Badger Break Bits

Senior wide receiver Lee Evans announced at the Alamo Bowl that he will return to Madison to play football in 2003. Evans was declared a medical redshirt halfway through the season and still has one year of eligibility left in his college career.

Evans had surgery on his knee twice in 2002; once after injuring it in the spring game, and again in November after swelling reoccurred. His expected recovery time is six months.
