An attorney for Lee Evans entered an innocent plea Tuesday in response to a misdemeanor marijuana possession charge against the Badgers wide receiver, the Associated Press reported.
Iowa County authorities arrested Evans Nov. 1 when they found two bags of marijuana and two blunts (cigars filled with marijuana) in his car after pulling him over for a traffic
violation.

According to an earlier report in The Capital Times, however, Evans admitted to village of Ridgeway police that the marijuana was his.
A motions hearing will take place Feb. 4.
