Badgers backup tight-end Rob Tucker was charged last Thursday with several misdemeanor counts after an incident a week earlier at the Kollege Klub, 529 N. Lake St. According to the Wisconsin State Journal, the 22-year-old was charged with criminal damage to property, obstructing and resisting police and two counts of disorderly conduct.
Tucker was at the tavern Nov. 16 causing a disturbance. The manager denied him another drink, and as friends escorted him out of the bar, Tucker threw a can of chewing tobacco at the manager, which hit her in the head. When police found him and forced him into the squad car, Tucker kicked out a back window.
Badgers offensive lineman Al Johnson was also charged Friday with a drunk driving incident that occurred Oct. 6. Johnson's breath tested 0.11 percent approximately one hour after police first stopped him. He will make an initial court appearance today.
