Ejections down at latest home game

UW Police ejected 18 people and issued 12 citations at the Wisconsin-Illinois football game Saturday. 

 

 

 

Those ejected were cited for being seated in the wrong section and for possession of alcohol. Two of those ejected Saturday were UW-Madison students. 

 

 

 

UW Police wrote citations at the game for underage alcohol possession, possession of intoxicants and disorderly conduct. Six of those who were given citations at the game are UW-Madison students. People who received citations were also ejected from the game.

UW Police also had contact with five UW-Madison students at the game because they were spitting. 

 

 

 

The last football home game Oct. 19 against Ohio State saw more than 40 ejections. 

 

 

 

The highest number of ejections this season occurred Oct. 7 when police ejected 63 people from Camp Randall during the Penn State game.
