Why did popular Democrats like Sen. Max Cleland, D-Ga., lose? Why did other sure Democrats lose at the last moment? Yes, the Democrats need to grow some balls, but the ones that do, like Rep. Cynthia McKinney, D-Ga., get railroaded for questioning Bush's tactics, or Wellstone, well, we know what happened to him. Anyone who gets in Bush's way somehow gets removed from the scene. Now wealth and power have no roadblocks.
