UW sophomore running back Anthony Davis was arrested on misdemeanor battery charges Tuesday morning, two days after he was stabbed in the leg during a domestic dispute in his apartment.
Davis, who was released from the hospital Monday, was brought to the Dane County Jail at approximately 10:10 a.m. Tuesday, where he was charged with battery, fingerprinted and had his mugshot taken.
\Anthony came in as a book-and-release today,"" a Dane County Jail clerk said Tuesday night. ""It was a total normal procedure for people that are getting booked into the jail.""

Davis left the jail at approximately 10:55 a.m., according to the clerk. A trial date for Davis has yet to be set.
