The Student Services Finance Committee passed budgets for Wunk Sheek, the Campus Women's Center and the College of Agriculture and Life Sciences student council Wednesday with some cuts to each.
Some SSFC representatives said they felt Wunk Sheek's request of $40,000 for program supplies was excessive. After hearing from a Wunk Sheek representative who said a $10,000 cut would \strongly impact"" its events,"" SSFC reduced the cut to $5,000.
Wunk Sheek's final budget stood at $80,378.
The CWC sustained a cut in surplus salaries, a category SSFC representative Ryan Nichols called ""a slush fund."" The committee set CWC's budget at $65,865.
The CALS Student Council budget passed with amendments to the communication coordinator's rate of pay and its postage allowance. Its final budget is $10,001.
