The four dean of students finalists visited UW-Madison during the past few weeks. Each spent two days meeting and interviewing with students and staff. The person selected will replace Alicia Ch??vez, who left the position in January.
The finalists include Luoluo Hong of Shepherd College, in Shepherdstown, W. Va.; Ivor Emmanuel of the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign; Randi Schneider of Indiana University of Pennsylvania; and Donald Schutt Jr., director of the Office of Human Resource Development at UW-Madison.
Interim dean of students Roger Howard stepped down in mid-August, leaving the position currently vacant.
