UW-Madison will have a major campus wide technology upgrade and open and open a unique Internet laboratory called the Wisconsin Advanced Internet Laboratory.
Both projects will be possible thanks to a gift of $10.8 million from John Morgridge through his TOSA Foundation.

The technology upgrade will occur over five years. It will make the campus computer network among the fastest, most reliable and most secure campus system nationwide.
WAIL will allow researchers to recreate parts of the Internet in a lab.
