Police officers responded Monday afternoon to an armed robbery in an apartment at 311 State St.
According to a Madison Police Department news release, the robbery, which remains under investigation, occurred at approximately 3:10 p.m. after three intruders gained entry.
While in the apartment, the robbers displayed a handgun, tied up the 23-year-old male victim and began removing several electronic equipment items before they fled on foot.
The first robber is described as a 6' male in his late teens or early 20s and with a large build, wearing a dark-colored leather jacket. The second, also in his late teens or early 20s, had a similar build and wore a black and white Nike jacket, while the third robber is described as a 5'10' male in his late teens or early 20s wearing a red New York Yankees baseball cap.
