Speakers included Krist Novoselic, the former bassist of Nirvana; Doria Roberts, a recording artist; Ingrid Newkirk, the founder and president of People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals; singer and songwriter Jill Sobule; and Jello Biafra, former leader of the Dead Kennedys.
