A new university Web service will be available for all students beginning next week.
The My UW-Madison Web portal was introduced exclusively to new students attending SOAR this summer.
Features include announcements and events calendars, the campus phone directory, the online library catalog, financial information and academic records.
Currently, first-year My UW-Madison users also have access to Web-based e-mail, but due to technical difficulties, continuing students will not be able to use the feature yet. Department of Information Technology will notify students when this service is available.
To set up and use My UW-Madison, go to and log in with a student NetID, the user name before the students.wisc.edu e-mail account. The password is the same as a student's e-mail password.
For technical support, call the 24-hour DoIT help line at 264-HELP or send an e-mail to . DoIT will send an e-mail to all students within one week of when they may begin using My UW-Madison.
