UW-Madison's men's and women's hockey seasons begin at the Kohl Center this weekend with increased security measures similar to those instituted during Badger football games following the Sept. 11 attacks.
Volleyball and basketball games held at the Field House and Kohl Center will operate under the same heightened security.
No carry-ins, such as backpacks or food, will be allowed. UW Police advises fans to arrive early to avoid delays gaining admission and finding parking.

The Badger men's hockey team will host Wayne State Friday and Saturday night beginning at 7:05 p.m. The women's team will host Connecticut Saturday and Sunday at 2:35 p.m.
