Due to Tuesday's tragedies in New York City and Washington, D.C, many professional and collegiate sports leagues have been working frantically to reschedule missed games.
Major League Baseball lost six days of games from Tuesday through Sunday and will continue play today with eight games on the schedule.
The postponed games will be made up the week of Oct. 1, with the normal playoff format scheduled the following week.
The National Football League cancelled all of its games last weekend, and commissioner Paul Tagliabue will announce a decision this week on whether the league will keep a full 16-game schedule or eliminate the first round of playoffs.
Many NCAA football teams are trying to reschedule the games they missed this weekend, but some games have already been cancelled.
