Redshirt freshman running back Tyron Griffin has left the UW football team to pursue other opportunities, according to Head Coach Barry Alvarez,
In the spring, Griffin was one of three Badgers freshmen in contention for the starting running back job after sophomore Broderick Williams suffered an ACL injury.
Earlier this season, Griffin saw limited action, carrying the ball twice for three yards in Wisconsin's 31-28 loss to Oregon Sept. 1.
