SSFC accuses self of non-neutrality

Student Services Finance Committee representatives Aaron Werner and Drew Horn filed a complaint Wednesday with the Associated Students of Madison Student Judiciary alleging SSFC members who voted for the eligibility of Diversity Education Specialists last month were in violation of viewpoint neutrality.

The suit claims representatives Jason Davis, Faith Kurtyka, Monica San Miguel, Andrew Bryan, Gladys Reyes and Rob Welygan voted to fund the group despite evidence showing DES spent too much time working with the Multicultural Student Center, making them in violation of Board of Regents policy regulating segregated fee use.
