In 2016, the Wisconsin State Council on Alcohol and Other Drug Abuse Prevention Committee (SCAODA) released a 72 page report with recommendations on how to reduce the public health impact of marijuana in the community. They recommended that Wisconsin not legalize marijuana and instead recommended that those with possession and use crimes continue to be thrown in jail.

In their first series of February, No. 1 Wisconsin (14-2-1-0 WCHA, 24-2-1 overall) stomped unranked St. Cloud State (1-17-1-0 WCHA, 5-19-4 overall) 11-1 at LaBahn Arena in Madison. After losing 5-0 yesterday against the Badgers, the Huskies stopped themselves from another shut-out, but couldn’t save themselves from a good old-fashioned Badger beating.

They dominated this weekend’s series, after an overtime win by Wisconsin Friday night. The teams were deadlocked at 1-1-1 this season before today’s win by the Badgers.

The Wisconsin Badgers (2-0-0) women’s hockey team took home a pair of wins against the Lindenwood Lions (0-0-2) on Friday and Saturday. The Badgers beat out the Lions 4-0 in Friday night’s season opener and Saturday’s rematch that resulted in a 6-2 Badger victory.
