Think playing a criminal onscreen is tough? Well, also consider
trying to convince the audience that despite stabbing an old woman
in the chest, you are still a good kid deep down inside. ""Gridiron
Gang"" brings forth a group of young actors who master their roles
as juvenile delinquents who are out to prove that they are not the
low-life losers that society expects them to be.

World War II stories have been told through the eyes of men,
women and children, but never through the eyes of Death. That's
Death, with a capital D. Mankind's inevitable fate is personified
in Markus Zusak's ""The Book Thief"" in order to narrate the story
of a young girl growing up in Nazi Germany.

The couple munching on popcorn during a romantic movie, the
softball team chomping on greasy pizza to celebrate a huge victory
and the family enjoying corn-on-the-cob at a picnic all have
something in common. The foods that they are consuming are all
produced from the same sources that are used to make

Few students venture past Camp Randall, but surely they will
reconsider once they discover the Monroe Street area. Just a few
minutes from the stadium, Monroe Street is decked with specialty
stores that sell antiques, artwork and more. In the midst of these
shops, Barbara Wright's Mediterranean restaurant the Dardanelles,
1851 Monroe St., provides a healthy and tasty delight.Wright had
lived in Madison for more than 30 years when she and two other
partners first opened the restaurant in June 1996. Aware of the
unique shopping environment, Wright designed her Mediterranean
eatery to be an inviting place for any passerby. We're the
neighborhood restaurant,\ Wright said. ""We want people to come and
have a good time."" Not only does the Dardanelles meet the needs of
customers, the restaurant also introduces different types of
food.

If one were to conjure up an image of a stereotypical Christian
music group, the band Payable On Death would not fit the
description. Clad in black and covered in tattoos, the members of
P.O.D. are a far cry from clean-cut golden boys. Additionally, one
can hardly describe lead singer Sonny's shrill voice as being
angelic, nor does P.O.D.'s hard and heavy sound fit the mold of
typical worship music.

With a tagline beginning with the phrase, 'Before Romeo and
Juliet,' it is easy to assume that 'Tristan and Isolde' is just
another sob-inducing story about two star-crossed lovers. However,
there is so much more to the film than its taglines and trailers
imply.

With 2005 coming to a close after a soft year at the box office,
much good still came from Hollywood. Much good and a whole lot of
bad.
