A sexual assault in a Southeast residence hall Sunday was reported in a “Crime Warning” email sent to the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus community on Monday. Because the alleged victim has not filed a police report, there remains no active police investigation into the incident. Instead, the case is being handled by the Sexual Misconduct Resource and Response Program formally known as the Title IX program.

The Notre Dame Fighting Irish football team is currently sitting at No.12 in the country after compiling a 3-0 start off of solid play by graduate transfer and former Wisconsin starting quarterback Jack Coan. Behind Coan's efficient play, the Fighting Irish are averaging over 33 points per game and are looking to achieve back-to-back appearances in the College Football Playoff.

Five weeks have passed since the University of Wisconsin men’s hockey team (5-3 Big Ten, 5-5 overall) last saw the ice in their victory over Ohio State in Columbus. After the series with Michigan State was canceled due to COVID-19 issues with the Spartans, the Badgers will look to return to Big Ten action this Saturday when the top-ranked Minnesota Golden Gophers (8-0 Big Ten, 10-0 overall) visit Madison.

The Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey program is often lauded as one of the best developmental programs in the country with many former Badgers littered through the ranks of the NHL, as players and coaches alike. In the last few weeks, the strength of that development was highlighted at the World Junior Championship in Edmonton, Canada, where three Badgers– Cole Caufield, Alex Turcotte and Dylan Hollaway– all took home medals for their respective teams.

After suffering a tough loss the night before, the No. 14 Wisconsin Badgers men’s hockey team roared back in a big way, beating the No. 13 Ohio State Buckeyes by a score of 3-1 Friday night. Wisconsin will leave Columbus having split their series with Buckeyes, with both teams seeing positives that each can come away with.
