The University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Division of Housing plans to update Kronshage, Humphrey and Jorns residence halls, home to approximately 780 residents. According to the Wisconsin capital budget, the renovation will include bathroom updates, a new heating and cooling system in common spaces, updated fire and smoke detection and elevator construction to increase the number of accessible dorms in Kronshage to over half.

Traffic-related fatalities and serious injuries in Madison decreased by 17% in 2021 and 13% in 2022, according to a study conducted by the Traffic Operations and Safety Laboratory at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. The study tracked the number of serious injuries and fatalities in Madison since 2019.

Badgers, if you’re anything like me, the thought of gray skies and mushy snow in Madison is not a happy one. Each winter, I find myself lacking in motivation when it comes to school and social activities. All I want to do is cuddle up in bed and watch Netflix, especially when the alternative is walking to class in below-zero conditions.
