According to a survey conducted by C-SPAN in 2017, only 43 percent of U.S. voters can name one of the nine justices that sit on the United States Supreme Court. I went to a museum the other day, and I saw that they had an app. Why on Earth would a museum--just one museum--need its own app? The more apps I see around these days, the less I think we need so many. I only use a few big apps--ones like Google Maps--and it seems very silly to me that so many smaller apps exist. Is anyone actually using these? Why do institutions and companies put the effort into creating them? Experts, can you change my mind about these apps, or at least explain to me why they should exist?

If there’s one celebrity who I could become best friends with, it would be Mindy Kaling. “The Mindy Project” was one of my favorite rom-coms, and when it ended, I was horrified I would no longer have a weekly hangout with Mindy — so I mostly just stalked her Instagram. Luckily, she wasn’t gone for too long, as she premiered her new show “Champions” earlier this month on NBC. Though it’s not the greatest, any Mindy is better than no Mindy.
