Documentaries succeed when they not only inform us about something we otherwise wouldn’t have known but when they move us like narratives. Perhaps nothing is more moving than real-life phenomenons and Netflix’s new documentary “Crip Camp '' utilizes such a notion. Produced by Barack and Michelle Obama, “Crip Camp” tells the story of a camp for disabled children in upstate New York and how that camp inspired several disabled individuals to become leaders in the disability rights movement.

At the risk of stating the obvious, the fallout from COVID-19 has proved more extreme than anticipated, both with respect to mortality rates and economic decline. In the midst of all the chaos, President Trump has approved the largest stimulus plan in American history. The plan has been met with mixed reactions, with a significant proportion of the opposition rooted in one brand of populism or another.

In the first scene of FX on Hulu’s new comedy series “Dave,” you get the whole picture on the biggest insecurity faced by protagonist Dave Burd, otherwise known as internet rapper Lil Dicky. Terrified to reveal the physical situation happening “below the belt” for his unassuming doctor, Burd gets way too far into the smaller details, pulls his pants down and lets the laughs ensue.

The educational pipeline is a period of exploration of one’s identity, place in society and their academic interests. It is a phase where opinions are like clay in its initial stages — if well-shaped it can make a beautiful pot, but mishandling can result in long-lasting effects. The curriculum taught to children in school defines the opinions formed at this “early clay” phase but also sets them up for future academic exploration.

Take a look at any film critic’s Top 10 List of 2019 and you will certainly find Noah Baumbach's “Marriage Story” at the top. A guaranteed nominee for Best Picture at the upcoming Academy Awards and a likely contender to win, this is a film I wanted to adore and rave about to everyone, yet sadly the film falls short of glory to be fully deserving.

“Dolomite is my name and f*cking up motherf*ckers is my game,” was the common phrase comedic legend Rudy Ray Moore gave himself in his hit films in the 1970s. “Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark,” released in August of this year, mostly went unnoticed and unspoken about, and for good reason. I expected much, much more from a Guillermo del Toro production. While never taking itself too seriously and trying to develop a fun, care-free story about kids versus monsters, this is a film that instantaneously starts off horribly and only goes downward.

Timothée Chalamet continues to be on the rise ever since his knockout performance in 2017’s “Call Me By Your Name,” scoring another role in Netflix’s Henry V biopic “The King.” While Chalamet proved he was a gifted talent two years ago, he seems to have left all of his skills in the past, for his portrayal of the King of England is absolutely static.

I’d like to know more about what specific positions entail. For example, I’ve heard a lot about avionics engineering, but not enough to understand it well. Experts, what is avionics engineering?
