Badger Film Group, a local Madison-based film group, is set to premiere its latest project and first feature film, “Watch Out,” at the Marquee Theater in the University of Wisconsin-Madison’s Union South on Thursday. The Wisconsin Badgers faced the Lakehead Thunderwolves in an exhibition game Sunday afternoon. The game provided a first look at the rebuilding Badger lineup. Despite the Badgers seemingly controlling play throughout much of the game, Wisconsin fell late in overtime, 3-2.

As the weather gets colder, it brings with it a new hockey season. The Wisconsin Badgers will look to improve upon last season which saw them finish fifth in the Big Ten with a conference record of 6-17-1 and an overall record of 10-24-3. The Badgers will also look to defend their Kwik Trip Holiday Face-Off championship, a highlight of their season as they won the two day tournament in a shootout against Providence last year.

The Wisconsin Badgers defeated the Western Michigan Broncos, 4-3, in the Nielsen Tennis Stadium Saturday afternoon. With the help of a match-securing victory by Sebastian Vile, the Badgers improved to 6-5 on the season, while the Broncos fell to 4-6.

Picture this. It’s 1993, and you’re sitting down in the theatre to watch Denzel — the guy who just played (and got snubbed) for the Oscar as Malcom X — and Morgan Freeman hunt down a serial killer somewhere among the crime-ridden streets. The guy who made “Jaws” and “ET” is directing, and as opening credits roll — you firmly believe this will be the best movie of the year.

First, I should probably congratulate the Packers on a decisive win yesterday. They did, in fact, beat the Rams. I mean, Aaron Donald was playing with broken ribs and starting quarterback Jared Goff had thumb surgery three weeks ago and the Packers did everything they could to work Davante Adams away from Jalen Ramsey, but they did win. So kudos to them.
