It's not that the razing of Ogg Hall will be a great
architectural loss, and the demolition of the First Wisconsin Bank
Building probably won't face much protest, but that there might be
both student and organization housing issues before they're
replaced. The East Campus Plan seems to be moving forward, though
not in the right order.

The most glaring stat from Wisconsin's loss to Auburn in

team? Any unit will have its share of bad apples and regrettable

Well, boys and girls, it's 16 days before Christmas and I'm busy
making my Christmas wish list for Santa. Now you may argue Santa
doesn't exist, but I might argue neither do standards in the
Athletic Department (although that's a story for another day). So
Santa, besides wishing for world peace and the ability to be
omniscient so I'd never have to study for finals again, I have some
sports wishes for our beloved athletic teams, and one special wish
for myself.

The Student Financial Services Committee decided Monday to table
till next week the re-examination of the previously approved budget
for Safe Arrival for Everyone, which includes SAFEwalk, SAFEcab and
SAFEbus. The committee approved a budget of $295,602, Oct. 8, only
$3,449 less than the $299,051 initially requested. The funding
faces review due to differences between SAFE contract and
practice.
