After two weeks of recruitment, hundreds of women received their bids and dashed to their newfound sisterhoods Sunday during the annual Bid Day festivities.
The University of Wisconsin-Madison Police Department held a training exercise simulating a bomb detonation at Camp Randall Stadium Thursday, July 17. The event involved hundreds of officers from almost 20 agencies and volunteer actors to simulate injuries and deaths. The university held press conferences to update mock journalists on the situation.

For the first time in over two decades, the University of Wisconsin-Madison's commencement ceremony was held in Camp Randall Stadium. Graduates did not walk across the stage; however they did take part in one of UW-Madison's most popular traditions: Jump Around. Former Utah Gov. Jon Huntsman was the keynote speaker.

The University of Wisconsin-Madison 'Varsity' band performed its 40th annual spring concert Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Special guests included Tom Wopat and Mark Pender. It played Wisconsin favorites, as well as James Bond, The Phantom of the Opera and The Beatles.
Badger Football played its annual spring scrimmage April 12 at Camp Randall Stadium, with the Cardinal team bringing down White 6-0.
Chi Omega sorority hosted its annual War of the Wings competition Wednesday at Wild Wing Cafe, where teams of students ate as many chicken wings as they could. Money raised for the event was donated to the Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Badger fans gathered at Kohl Center Sunday March 30 to welcome home the men's basketball team after beating ASU in overtime and moving on to the Final Four.
Wisconsin fell to North Dakota 5-2 in Friday's NCAA Midwest Regional. The game was the final game for 8 seniors on the team.
