The Wisconsin Union Directorate Distinguished Lecture Series Committee hosted Dr. Jane Goodall, a world-renowned primatologist and environmental activist. She spoke and led a discussion at Shannon Hall of Memorial Union on Sunday, Mar. 26 to UW-Madison students, staff and local community members who attended the event.

The Wisconsin women's hockey team upset Ohio to win the program's seventh  national championship, setting a new record for the most championships in NCAA women's hockey. The Badgers came home to celebrate with fans in the LaBahn Arena on Monday evening.

PHOTOS: Crowl scores a career-high 36 points in decisive win over Bradley

Wisconsin defeated Bradley 81-62 in the first round of the National Invitational Tournament (NIT). Steven Crowl scored a career-high 36 points, tying Michael Finley for the school record for  most points scored in a postseason game. The Badgers advance to play Liberty at 11 a.m. on Sunday in the Kohl Center.

The Pride Society and the Queer & Trans Engineers & Qouncil (QTE) of UW-Madison hosted the Gothiqueer Pride Prom on Mar. 3 at Great Hall in Memorial Union. The event was open to the public and provided light refreshments, as well as a photo booth area. The drag show, starring local performers, began after attendees socialized.

The Badgers fell to Rutgers at home on Saturday 57-58, bringing their conference record to 7-9. The Badgers risk missing the NCAA Tournament for the first time since 2018. They play Iowa next tonight in the Kohl Center.

Wisconsin Track and Field hosted the Badger Valentine Invitational in the Shell on Friday. Josie Shaefer set a school record in shotput, and Chloe Lindeman set a school record in weight throw.  The men's and women's teams each won 7 events. The Badgers travel next to Geneva, Ohio for the Big Ten Indoor Championships.

Wisconsin Swim and Dive Wins Duel Against Green Bay on Senior Night

The men's team won 176-103, and the women's team won 192-95 to close out the regular season. The 17th-ranked women's team and 24th-ranked men's team will travel next to Ann Arbor, Michigan to compete in the Big Ten Conference Championships, taking place from February 15-18.

PHOTOS: Arthurfest rocks the Nottingham

Arthurfest, a fundraiser-turned-DIY music festival at the Nottingham Cooperative on Jan. 28, 2023, raised the bar for local music in Madison and created a performance that will shine on in Madison indie history. There were a total of six acts during the show — Clandestine Chemistry, Tiny Voices, Excuse Me Who Are You?, Sex, Fear, Watermelon Collie and a final set by the titular Arthur himself alongside manateemailbox.
