Horizon High School, located just a couple miles west of UW-Madison's campus, is the only recovery high school in Wisconsin. A new piece of legislation recently passed by the State Legislature would create a charter for a second recovery school located somewhere in the state.

D'vontae Mitchell was beaten by Hyatt hotel security and Samuel Sharpe was shot 27 times by Columbus state police in Milwaukee for the Republican National Convention.
