The University of Wisconsin Police Department (UWPD) is investigating a sexual assault case reported on Monday, which occurred in a southeast campus residence hall early Sunday morning.
UWPD is actively investigating the incident, according to a message sent to the campus community.
“These acts will not be tolerated on campus and may be a violation of Wisconsin law as well as the University’s Sexual Harassment and Sexual Violence policy. UW-Madison proactively addresses sexual assault, dating violence, domestic violence, stalking, sexual harassment and sexual exploitation,” the message said.
