Judge determines Cephus case ‘not ripe,’ delays trial

Dane County Circuit Court Judge William Hanrahan, who was to preside over the trial, chose to allow Cephus to remain out on bail while the trial dates are reset.
Cephus stands trial on two counts of felony sexual assault, to which he pleaded not guilty. He is suspended from the team indefinitely, pending the trial’s results.Subscribe to The Daily Cardinal Newsletter
