Armed robbery reported at intersection of Spring and Mills

Two suspects who carried a weapon robbed an individual of their belongings Friday morning, according to a UW-Madison Police Department incident report.

The robbery reportedly took place at the intersection of Mills Street and Spring Street around 2:15 a.m. A single individual was approached by the suspects. They demanded his belongings after showing they held a handgun, according to the release.

The victim was not physically injured. He called UWPD after the suspects left the area.

Madison Police Department is investigating the incident.
