Madison police were dispatched to a restaurant Friday night following a reported physical assault.
Officials say the incident occurred at approximately 12:40 a.m. inside State Street Brats, located at 603 State St.

The suspect then attempted to leave the premises, “but his flight path took him directly into a State Street Brats’ employee,” Public Information Office Joel Despain said.
Attempting to resist arrest, the accused was eventually taken into custody on charges of battery and cited for the underage procuration of alcohol.
The injuries resulting from the assault were non-life threatening, and both the State Street Brats’ employee and 19-year-old man are in good health, according to the report.
