A traffic stop last week resulted in the arrest of a primary suspect of a drug investigation that has been ongoing since November.
Horatio T. Gardner was pulled over on Greenway View at Todd Drive Thursday before being arrested for delivery of cocaine base, felon firearm possession, possession with intent to deliver THC and maintaining a drug dwelling.
Shortly afterward, officers entered his apartment and arrested the second suspect, Leonard J. Henderson. That search also yielded the weapons, ammunition, drug paraphernalia, marijuana and cash.
One of the guns discovered was stolen out of a car parked outside of West Towne Mall last year.
Officers from Middleton, Fitchburg and Sun Prairie, as well as a Dane County Sheriff’s deputy and his dog, aided in the operation.
