Clinton to stump for Obama in Green Bay Friday

Former President Bill Clinton will campaign for President Barack Obama in Green Bay this Friday, the Obama campaign announced today.

The campaign has yet to provide any details of the event.

Clinton's last visit to Wisconsin came in June when he stumped for Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett ahead his recall battle against Gov. Scott Walker.

The Badger State has been flooded with visits by the Obama campaign in recent weeks. The president held a rally on the University of Wisconsin-Madison campus earlier this month, Vice President Joe Biden campaigned in La Crosse last Friday and First Lady Michelle Obama plans to stop in Racine and Wausau this Friday.

A Quinnipiac/CBS/New York Times poll released last week showed Obama leading his Republican challenger Mitt Romney by just three points, 50 percent to 47 percent, in Wisconsin.
