Biden, Ryan to campaign in Wisconsin

Both Vice President Joe Biden and Republican vice presidential candidate Paul Ryan will campaign in Wisconsin this week, a reminder that Wisconsin is still a priority for both the Republican and Democratic parties.

Biden will be holding a rally at the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire Thursday where he will discuss President Barack Obama’s approach to the economy, while Ryan will host a town hall meeting Wednesday in De Pere.

Although Wisconsin, which Obama won in 2008, has traditionally been a Democratic state, Republican National Committee Political Director Rick Wiley called it a "toss-up" in the Appleton Post-Crescent.

Neither Biden nor Ryan will be visiting the Madison or Milwaukee areas on this trip.
