The Skinny: Once a year, there is an event so spectacular, so awe-inspiring, so life-changing, that it takes over almost every venue at which things to do this weekend usually take place. Why? Well, the Film Festival is as awesome as everything you may have done at all of those places otherwise COMBINED. Yeah it's that cool. The Skinny: Made up of Madison students David Bayer, Roberto Garza, Jake Hausmann, Charles Kim and Aaron Sherraden, Sol is the only UW-Madison band to make the semifinals of mtvU's nationwide contest. The winner gets a record deal, a video on MTV and presumably a big increase in sex appeal.
